When you walk into our school building, you are met with a beautifully etched poster which says, “Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school. He is the unseen but ever-present teacher in its classes. He is the model of its faculty and the inspiration of its students.” This is truly why we have been here for so long—Jesus serves as our model and our inspiration.
Welcome to St. Patrick Catholic School. We are an educational ministry of our parish—St. Patrick Catholic Church. As such, we align our efforts to achieving our goal of educating the whole child—mind, body, and spirit. We strive to assist our children in becoming, as St. John Bosco once said, “Good citizens of Heaven and Earth.” We are first and foremost a Catholic school, however, we welcome and embrace families from all faiths.
Since our opening in 1964, hundreds of students have called St. Patrick Catholic School their home. In fact, many of our students started in our Early Childhood Program and stayed all the way through the eighth grade. Presently many of the parents of our current students were at one time students themselves in our school! We truly value building lasting relationships with our school families—relationships that survive and thrive generation after generation.
Our school is fully accredited through the Florida Catholic Conference, and we are a member of the National Catholic Educational Association. Our school adheres to the standards and benchmarks established by the Florida Department of Education, including teacher certification and curriculum standards, and the policies established by the Office of the Superintendent of the Diocese of St. Augustine.
If you would like to take a tour of our school, please feel free to contact us; we’d love to share with you all the great things that happen at St. Patrick. If, after reviewing the information on our website, you feel that SPCS is the right place for your child, we would be honored to walk you through the application process and to welcome you into our school family.
May God Bless You,
Mr. Chris Meyer
School Principal
