Academics
We warmly welcome military families to Florida and are honored to support you as you transition to our community. Many military families qualify for the Family Empowerment Scholarship Program, a state-funded initiative that helps provide access to the best educational opportunities for their children. At St. Patrick Catholic School, we proudly accept the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship, the Family Empowerment Scholarship, and the Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities, ensuring that every child has the chance to thrive.
We also understand that frequent moves can be challenging for students and families. That’s why we partner closely with parents to ensure a smooth transition into our school community. From reviewing prior educational experiences to providing individualized support, we work to make every student feel welcomed, valued, and prepared for success—both academically and spiritually—at St. Patrick Catholic School.
Transition
At St. Patrick Catholic School (SPCS), we understand that moving—especially for our military families—can bring both excitement and challenges. To help make the transition as smooth as possible, we pair new students with our Irish Ambassadors, classmates who serve as friendly guides and companions during those important first days. These student leaders help newcomers feel at home, answer questions, and introduce them to our school community.
We also work hand in hand with parents to ensure each child’s unique educational background is honored and supported. From reviewing prior school experiences to providing individual attention, our teachers and staff are committed to helping every student feel welcomed, valued, and ready to succeed. At St. Patrick Catholic School, you are not just joining a school—you are becoming part of a faith-filled family.
Events
At St. Patrick Catholic School, we are honored to welcome military families into our community and celebrate the incredible contributions of those who serve. We proudly recognize and support our military children and families throughout the year, including a meaningful Veterans Day Prayer Service, a special lunch during the Month of the Military Child, our Purple Dress Down Day, celebrations during the Month of the Military Family, and recognition of Memorial Day in May. These events are our way of showing gratitude and making every military child and family feel valued and celebrated.
