It is comprised of a five stage process to aid you in answering these questions as you respond to Gods invitation. The stages are:<\/p>\n<h2>Inquiry<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">This is the initial period before you decide to enter the Catholic Church. You are checking it out, but not yet ready to commit.<\/p>\n<h2>Catechumenate<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">This is for when you decide to enter the Church and are being trained for a life in Christ. You are now referred to as\u00a0a catechumen. In this stage, you&#8217;re developing your faith and are being catechized on the basic points about the Catholic faith and life.<\/p>\n<h2>Purification and preparation<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">The Church in this stage will help you to focus and intensify your faith, while you prepare to commit your life to Christ and be received into the Church at Easter.<\/p>\n<h2>Initiation<\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">This rite is the culmination of the whole process!
